Life in the Bush respectfully acknowledges Aboriginal Australians as the First Australians and Traditional Custodians of this great country. Life in the Bush is situated on Noongar Whadjuk Boodja, the country of the Noongar Whadjuk people, who have cared for this land for tens of thousands of years. With the utmost respect for Aboriginal culture and deepest admiration for their connection to this land, I express my gratitude to the Noongar Nation and all other Aboriginal groups across this land for their knowledge and practice of caring for country. I pay my respect to the elders, past, present and emerging and acknowledge their continuing culture and contributions made to lead the way in strengthening our communities and environment into the future.
